Dear Parents

We are fast approaching the end of a very busy term and I have been very pleased with the progress that children have made.  As a Mini Tennis club we have entered teams into the County team competitions (the only small club to do so, the rest being performance clubs) and I look forward to seeing how our players perform on Saturday 5th December at the County Centre at Newstead Wood school.  We are also  busy preparing some players for the Mini Red County Championship qualifying events with finals in March.

These and make ideal presents, so if you want to order one for your child, let me know – if you would like your child measured for the correct size, drop me an e.mail and I can do it during their lesson.

Ladies Friday morning coaching and other adult coaching sessions
Coaching takes place regularly at Otford on Friday mornings:  Improvers 9.00 – 10.30 and beginners/rusty rackets 10.30 – 12.00.  Please call me for further details, we have a lot of fun and fresh air and as far as possible keep going throughout the winter.  Everyone is welcome to come along.  We  are also hoping there will be enough interest to set up  other adult coaching groups at Otford Tennis club for both beginners and more advanced players.  For further details please contact me.

Spring Term rebooking
All booking is on a first come first served basis.  If you want to change days then this is the time to do so, however in order to make life easier for parents who have children receiving coaching at the Tennis club, priority will be given to their siblings for the WEDNESDAY class.  There is quite a waiting list now, so please let me know as soon as possible if your child is not continuing next term so that the place can be offered to someone else. Priority booking for all club members is up to Friday 11th December.  After that places will be offered to people on the waiting list.

Holiday courses 2009
Advance notice for next year so you can plan, holiday course dates as follows: Easter: 6–9th April. Summer: 26th–29thJuly; 2nd–5th Aug; 9th–12th Aug.
So make a note of these dates in your 2010 diaries now!
