Cath Read is an established artist. She needed a distinct identity and a website to provide an online portfolio and an online "store" through which to sell her prints and cards.

Website
Cath's site is divided into two sections, the gallery and the store. It is designed to reflect the simplicity of a gallery wall. The pages are calm and uncluttered because the viewer visits to see and purchase the art and not experince the website.

The paintings are organised into themes and are developing and expanding as Cath creates new work.

I designed Cath's own range of cards, and worked with her in designing the space, and promotional material for her recent exhibitions for both the Chelsea and Tatton Park Flower Shows.

The Logo
Logo

After exploring a number of options I created a clear, memorable logo based on Cath’s signature. We decided on this approach because an artist’s signature becomes an integral part of both their work and creative identity.

Business Cards
I used a detail from one of Cath’s paintings to create a business card that turned one side of her card into an image that represents her art whilst the other side gives all the necessary information.
