Walk Awhile is a company that offers walking holidays
in Kent. Derek, the owner, already had a web site that he'd built himself
but was aware that he needed to present a more professional image to potential
clients. He wanted
a clear, up-to-date site with a rural, out-door feeling.

Website
The Walk Awhile website is attractive, simple and
easily navigable. Derek had a number of photo-
graphs of rural Kent he wanted to include. I optimised
the images for efficient uploading and we agreed that
they would have greater impact if we presented them
as a whole rather than having them dotted individually
through the site. I took the wide picture appearing at
the top of the pages especially for the purpose.

Logo
Derek was keen to incorporate his own photograph of a pair of boots
into the logo. I manipulated the photograph to create an image that
was distinct and versatile. I chose the font because it gives the impression
of a footprint. It therefore complements the image, continues the rural
theme and reinforces the nature of the business.
